Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University supports the EU Modernisation and Internationalisation Agenda for Higher Education, and the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education is integral to the realisation of our institutional plans, strategies and aspirations.

We believe that higher education is a power for good and makes a significant economic, intellectual and cultural contribution to the world.  We are committed to international excellence through the creation of world-changing research and high quality, inspirational teaching within an inclusive academic culture.

 

These core values expressed in our institutional strategy permeate our approach to international engagement.   Central to the achievement of our vision of an international university are the benefits derived from working collaboratively.  Our international partnerships in both participating and non-participating countries facilitate and support staff and student mobility, student recruitment, developments in teaching and learning, collaborative research and capacity-building.
 

The Internationalisation strategy of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University is to enable and advance the University's international reputation in the fields of learning,teaching and research in both European and non-European countries. Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University's internationalisation strategy focuses on local and national diversity. To achieve this strategy, we will develop the following goals; 1.Be active in international area, 2.Increase the number and quality of our international partnerships, 3.Make the University stronger through cultural diversity, 4.Develop University through the experiences of students and staff within the framework of mobility in European and non-European countries,
